MizMedi Hospital was founded by the late Roh GyungByung using
his private fortune, who founded Jeil Hospital in 1963 and served as its
chairman.

Dr. Roh wished MizMedi Hospital to continuously provide quality medical
service to help women and babies lead a healthy life, improve medical
techniques and pass the new medical knowledge and techniques to the
next generations.

Founded in 1991 and 2000, respectively, Gangnam MizMedi and Gangseo
hospitals have been providing quality obstetrics and gynecology services
for three generations.

In 1991, I founded Youngdong Jeil Hospital,
the predecessor of MizMedi, and opened MizMedi in 2000
to realize the dream and innovation.
Our hospital is getting attention with its
top-quality infertility service, state-of-the-art techniques,
quality medical services and unique architectural design.

MizMedi Hospital consists of two hospitals located in Seoul: ‘Gangnam MizMedi
Hospital’ that opened in 1991 as ‘Youngdong Jeil Hospital’ and ‘Gangseo MizMedi
Hospital’ that was founded in 2000.

With the most advanced medical equipment and technologies, a proud legacy of
having produced outstanding research outputs and the quality medical service,
our hospital has been designated as a specialized women’s hospital for three
consecutive times by the Korean government, and are a general hospital that
has a total of ten service departments including obstetrics/gynecology,
General Surgery, pediatrics, urology and family medicine.

Based on our founding mission of becoming a Hospital for Patients’ Satisfaction,

its 60 specialists and 600 staff members make the best efforts to provide the most
